Shuffle Festival

Shuffle Festival

Living in Tower Hamlets means we have access to the local cemetery, which may not seem entirely exciting, but it is also home to the Sloane's Center. The Center is a great way for people to engage with the local nature and it can be a great insight to Ecologism. We decided to explore for ourselves with an exclusive back stage tour before the Shuffle Festival. The annual festival that takes place in Tower hamlets Cemetery Park is based around exploring the forestry and natural surroundings of the park. Amreen persuaded the event organisers to allow us a view of the area before the event began. We got to explore into the woods and get a feel of nature.  This gave us an insight in to ecologism, mankind and nature connecting together. We understood the reasons why ecologists are so critical of industrialisation and how it can ruin a beautiful place like we visited.
